Casa dos Passarinhos really is a charming villa with beautiful well established surrounding gardens. The villa is extremely well equipped and beautifully decorated. Clean sheets and beds made up; clean towels plus pool towels for all four of us. On arrival, a friendly introduction from Lynda and Anita, who look after the villa. The best Welcome Pack we've ever had which included more than the usual essentials, plus beers and two bottles of wine. There are at least three outside dining areas, as well as a dining table indoors. TWO BARBEQUES TO CHOOSE FROM. The pool is superb and we used it every day. Our two teenage sons loved having a pool to ourselves! We could have paid extra for it to be heated, but it didn't need to be, as temperatures were averaging a sweltering 33 degrees. Air-con in the bedrooms was welcomed! There are plenty of outside chairs and sun loungers and a BBQ area with another table and seating. Everything was top quality.
Guia itself is a quaint little village and takes about 10 to 15mins to walk. There is a large piece of land used as a free car park just before the centre of the village which was handy as well. Plenty of local restaurants to try out. The Football Club Cafe is very popular and extremely cheap. (€3.30 for two coffees and a Fanta can)
Algarve Shopping Centre has a huge hypermarket which stocks everything. Again parking is free.
We found Guia was a really good base to explore West and East Algarve, but especially enjoyed coming back for a dip in the pool and relax, after a morning's venture. Thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay.Overview
Casa Guia is a beautiful three bedroom, sleeps 6, two bathroom plus guests cloakroom, situated on the charming Quinta dos Alamos estate, near to the town centre of Guia- where you will find a wide range of facilities and lots of local restaurants, plenty of which specialise in the famous local dish Chicken Piri-Piri. The utility room houses the washing machine, iron & ironing board and an additional drinks fridge. Stored in this room is a child's pushchair and a set of golf clubs, both of which are available for guests to use should they require them.

Bedroom one is a twin bedroom with split unit a/c; central heating and an en suite shower room with heated towel rail.
Bedroom two is the Master suite complete with Super King bed (1.80 x 2.00 metres); split unit a/c; central heating; double wardrobes; doors leading directly to the poolside terrace and a brand new refurbished en suite bathroom with bath and additional shower unit.
Bedroom number three is a double room with patio doors to garden. Air Con etc,, There is also an additional guests cloakroom situated off the split level lounge .
